Today I wanted to give a run down of some of the best recurring types of posts on this site. I haven’t done an epic 3-parter on the thoracic spine in a while, but these seem to fill the void.
Best Exercise in Ever
The title of this series is a little cheeky, but outlines an exercise I like using either with myself or with my clients and that gets some great results. These aren’t your normal biceps curls and leg press exercises, so they’re worth the while just to have some new stuff to try on the new year.
How to McGuyver Fitness Equipment
This is a new feature that I’ll be updating going forward, and there’s only one post on it, but I felt it was a good one after discussing solutions to building a safety squat bar without actually having a safety squat bar with Ben Bruno.
Checklist for Determining Movement Dysfunction
This was a 2-part series I put together back in June that outlines my approach for trying to figure out if someone has an issue with a movement, what that issue could be and whether it’s something I need to spend time working on with them or cutting losses and moving on to other things.
10 Ways to Increase Your Fitness Results Immediately
Another 2-parter, this series focused on simple yet effective ideas you could implement to see tangible improvements in your health and fitness with minimal effort on your part.
Guest Posts
Guest posts are a great way for me to be able to feature another prominent strength coach, training style innovator, researcher, rehab professional, or anyone who has some credence behind their words, plus give people a break from my lame puns and comedic timing.
And now that the Game of Thrones binge watching series is over for the year, I have to get back to some actual work and get everyone ready for the beginning of the year. My weekend will now consist of being hunched over my laptop whilst cranking out new programs for every one of my in-person, distance, and group training clients. I know how to party.
