Why get coached by Dean?

My clientele has included clients with post-surgical joint replacement rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation & wellness, sports injury post-rehabilitation, neural impairments and spinal cord injuries, cancer patients and even elite runners and fire fighters. Training is easiest once you know where to start, which is why I try to incorporate a lot of different assessment techniques, some common, some I’ve made up on the spot, but in each case the goal is to see what that person uniquely brings to the table and how I could help them get more from their workouts, however that may be.

Everyone has a raging beast of an athlete inside of them, and deserves to feel what it’s like to push their limits with a safe and effective program.

Meet Dean

Dean Somerset CSCS, CEP, MES
Dean is a personal trainer, author, and international public speaker whose main area of expertise is injury and medical dysfunction management through optimally designed exercise programs.

Dean is from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Technically, Dean has some more impressive sounding titles, but they all just mean the same things:

Absolutely! I offer video consulting via Skype, anywhere in the world.

Book one or many Skype meetings with me to go through an assessment, figure out a corrective strategy that may be beneficial for you, and give you recommendations on how to address any issues going forward.

Once purchased, a Skype Consultation will be scheduled based on your availablity and Dean’s schedule.

I train clients who are looking for more in-person and direct coaching in Edmonton, Alberta, working out of Evolve Strength Downtown (12328 102 Ave). I’m happy to help coach technique on common lifts, develop a one-off program for you to do on your own, of be your sherpa through all things fitness.
