Stuff You Should Check Out: June Edition

It’s been a  while since I gave out some free internet love to some of my favorite articles and blog posts from the past….whenever, so I thought I would throw one together for all my ninjas.

1. A Stretch Routine That’s Actually Doable – Me on T-Nation.com

Funny bit of trivia: the original title was supposed to be “Stretch Like a Man.”

2. The Difference Between the Location of Symptoms and the Source of Dysfunction – Mike Reinhold

I actually read this the day before teaching Post Rehab, and busted out the kinetic ripple theory. I saw about 6 lightbulbs go off in the room.

3. Strength Goals – Don’t be Afraid to Abandon Them – Bret Contreras

I’ve never really been a believer in the whole “genetic limit” theory, but Bret raises some provocative questions, plus the videos are both hilarious and scary, and it has over 100 comments, so you know he hit a few nerves on this one!!

4. A Rant on Chicken Leg Syndrome – Tony Gentilcore

I loves me a good rant, and when the word is in the title, you KNOW you’re in for a score!! I just wish he would have included the picture of my massive right calf for comparison sakes that I emailed him a few months ago to make him feel better. Mind you, knowing him he would have sent me a video of him deadlifting 405 for reps. Jerk. Still funny as hell.
