Aaaaahhhhhhhhh. It’s nice to have 2 full weeks off from work. Keep in mind, though, that I’m not just sitting around eating bon bons and watching episodes of The Young and the Restless, although Victor Newman is a scheming son of a bitch.
No no, I’ve been working. I mean, not waking up at 5am or anything, and the effort hasn’t been full-out, but I’ve managed to complete the baseboards in the bedroom (which look fantastic, by the way), and started putting in some insulation in our porch, which apparently had…….no insulation whatsoever. It’s a bigger job than I thought, as the old gyprock was essentially made of a pressed cardboard, and measures about 1/8 inch thinner than the standard drywall, which means Dean gets to play in the mud for a few days!!! All told, it should help reduce our energy costs, as some insulation will always be better than none, but I digress.
2. I’ve been making some good progress on the book, taking a few of the pictures needed for the assessment section, and looking forward to building the workouts for the main section. If you haven’t already done so, please take a second and fill out the quick poll to let me know what you think the best title of the book should be. I’ll share results at the end of the week.

I wanted to have it done by the end of January, but I’m thinking it would be better to put something together that has a bit more substance to it and will be of a higher quality than just throwing something together, so I’m planning to push the date back to roughly May 1st. Hopefully I’ll have a first draft done by then.
3. Apparently the east coast has been getting a skiff of snow or two lately. What’s the matter??? Forgot your shovels?? HAHAHAHAHA!!! hehhh. Sorry, but after getting the shaft from old man winter for most of the year, it’s always good to see others hating snow and blowing suck. Why the hell do I live here again?? No one has ever answered that for me.
4. Want some training advice? We watched The Fighter last night on date night, and I have to say it was a pretty cool movie.
The training advice? Follow what Mickey Ward did after he broke his hand and wanted to get back into the ring. He started working out like he needed to. Like there was no other option except for this one possible way out. Want to get into awesome shape for the new year? Do the same. Hit the workouts like there’s not going to be another one, and like you’re trying to will your body to do more than it thinks it should. Push hard for big challenges, and you’ll be surprised at the results.
5. If you haven’t already checked it our, Muscle Imbalances Revealed 2.0 is on sale for the rest of the year. Check it out here.
