New Site is Ready to Roll, Plus Other Cool Stuff

Over the past 6 weeks, I’ve been working with the great folks over at Copter Labs to give my site an overhaul, and I think they did a fantastic job. Considering I did pretty much every element on my previous site on my own, and I’m about as computer literate and trying to understand Tracy Anderson discussing exercise physiology, it definitely looked like an amateur job compared to having Copter do their thing. I mean, these guys have worked with the literal who’s who of the online fitness world – John Romaniello, Tony Gentilcore, Bandana Training, Adam Bornstein, Nate Green, just to name a few – and I was very happy to get in to have them work with me. copter-labs Some of the big things I wanted to accomplish with this re-design were to make it more visually appealing to the reader, emphasize signing up for my newsletter (which you should totally do), and showcasing some of the hard work I’ve put out in the past few years with products. Additionally, I wanted to put my coaching services at more of a forefront, as previously it was buried in the header bar with everything else and wasn’t emphasized at all. As this site is a way of making an income, I wanted to make sure I had the best chance of having potential clients find me easily, as well as have people search out more information on stuff I’ve done in a much easier manner. Hopefully this design will allow for that. If you’re just viewing this blog post, click on my name at the top of the page and you’ll go to my main page, which will have all sorts of stuff going on and let you see how big the changes made actually were. Additionally, if you see something that looks off, doesn’t work when clicked, or causes your eyes to bleed, drop a comment on this post and I’ll get tech support on it asap. Additionally, if there’s anything you really REALLY like about the site, let me know that too. It’s always good to know what works as well as what doesn’t. Second to this, the workshop Tony Gentilcore and I are putting on October 19-20 is nearly upon us. Today is the last day to take advantage of the early bird pricing and save $100, so if you’re planning on attending, you’d better get on it as soon as possible and get things arranged. We’re planning on having lots of deadlifts, Coffee Crisp, Smarties, maple syrup, references to Corner Gas and Trailer Park Boys, as well as a profound apology for unleashing the likes of Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, and Nickleback upon the world.

If you’re a trainer, you’ll get a ton of continuing education credits to keep your certifications valid. If you’re a medical professional, you’ll get a chance to see what we do in terms of the gym side of rehab, corrective exercise, and developing the other side of the continuum you may not see on a regular basis. If you’re a fitness enthusiast, you’ll get to deadlift, squat, and do some cool breathing drills to unlock your movement potential, and you may even do stuff you never could before. Plus, you may see me sporting a “Gentilcore Performance” shirt like no one’s business. Dean-and-Tony In an attempt to streamline my writing process, I want to know what you want to hear about. Drop a comment below and let me know if you want to learn more about hips, spine, deadlifts, functional anatomy, program design, gaining size & strength, weight loss, or any other topic of interest you may have relating to health and fitness. This will help to direct what I write about, making sure I satisfy you as a reader, and keep me from spinning my wheels trying to think of something to write about at 11 o’clock at night when I should have been in bed an hour ago due to having a 6am client tomorrow morning. Do you want more video tutorials? Cool new exercises? Ways of adapting common exercises to give new benefits? Science-y stuff with research references? Bueller? Bueller?

Okay, I have to make this post kinda short today as I have a bunch of stuff to catch up on after a pretty exhausting weekend of laying on my couch watching football and playing on my iPad. Let me know if you see anything messed up on the site and if there’s anything specific you want to see more of on this site, and don’t forget to keep being awesome. You know that thing you do? That really cool thing? Yeah, that. Keep doing the hell out of that.
