Well, September has almost come to an end. The air is turning a bit crisp, the leaves are changing colours, people are breaking out jackets and pants in favour of t-shirts and shorts. A few hardy souls are rocking the Canadian Tuxedo in full effect, and not giving a damn about what anyone thinks. Starbucks has started serving Pumpkin Spice lattes, and in a completely unrelated event the diagnosis of diabetes has skyrocketed following the release of these pumpkin flavoured sugar bombs.
Additionally, as with the beginning of every fall season in late September, Christmas displays are starting to pop up.
Santa’s got roughly 13 weeks to get jacked and put up with all those loaded carries and get through the metabolic roller coaster of consuming a metric shit-tonne of cookies and milk in one night.
Another thing that fall brings us is the much anticipated Dean & Tony’s Excellent Workshop High Five!! to Edmonton. Sure, there’s probably a chance there will be snow on the ground October 19-20, but that snow will pale in comparison to what’s going to be falling inside the gym.
KNOWLEDGE BOMBS
We have a jam-packed weekend planned where we’re going to cover everything from assessments, corrective strategies, to how to get a training effect while dealing with multiple issues and getting people immediate results in terms of strength and mobility through simple hacks like breathing drills, core activation, and some other cool stuff. We’ll also probably have at least 30% of attendees smash deadlift PRs while simultaneously bow-hunting a unicorn.
“Dean and Tony are not only two of the brightest guys in the field, and they’re also two of the most entertaining. Newer trainers will get brought up to speed on progressive training strategies and take away hands-on coaching techniques. More experienced coaches will benefit from Tony and Dean’s refined understanding of more complicated concepts. The only part that was weird was at the end when they made everyone do a group hug for 10 minutes, but after they explained it was really a “mind meld,” we all understood. Don’t miss this seminar!”
Dean and Tony really bring it to their presentations. Their speaking is really engaging and level of expertise is unmatched. You will surely go home armed with more knowledge than you can imagine which will surely help your clients and make you look like a hero. Also being in such a small group brings an intimacy that you will not get at another seminar where you can ask any and all questions and they will be happily answered which helps to really get a complete understanding of the material covered.
