Fridays: forgetfullness, Football, and Fancy Footwork

This morning started out like one of those days that you just know is going to go great. First, I couldn’t find my bank card and my Starbucks card, which if not found would cause a nuclear meltdown in my own head. “How dare those cards not be where I want them to be!?!?” When I get to work I discover them in the only logical place I didn’t look: my wallet. What a convenient place for keeping such items. Wish I would have thought of the idea of a wallet. Imagine the kind of bank I would be pulling in as the wallet creator?

This weekend we get to go to see the woeful Eskimos pull shards of grass and cleats from their teeth as they take on the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. As in any game featuring the Riders, the stands will probably be in more green and white than green and gold, including Lindsay. She told me that if things don’t work out with me, she’ll go for the back-up husband in Andy Fantuz.

The only difference between the two of us is that I stay crunchy in milk.
This week was probably one of the busiest August weeks I have ever had. Normally August is a pretty slow time for most gyms and personal trainers as people go on vacations, take time to workout outside, etc. Here’s what I did:
Trained 30 sessions
Taught a 4 hours Psychology for Personal Trainers seminar
Taught a 3 hour Cardio Conditioning Principles seminar
Taught a 4 hour Fitness Assessment seminar
Remained more awesome than the an episode of “Deadliest Warrior” featuring a women’s prison special triple elimination match between Martha Stewart, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan (Note: don’t mess with Martha, she’ll mess you up)
Edited a video of the Psychology seminar
Taught three Boot Camp classes
Did the rough outline for two new courses, and put together applications for the NSCA, IDEA, Can Fit Pro, and ECA conferences next year
Met with wedding photographers and the marriage commissioner
And found time to workout 3 times myself. The bench is getting better each week, and the back is still intact!
So after all of this, next weekend me and the future Mrs are heading to Jasper to get in some mountain biking and some R & R. We cashed in Air miles for hotel gift cards and get a chance to have a hella pimp room for cheap over the long weekend. Yea baby!!
Also being Friday, it’s a day to dance. I think this guy is my new hero.

Major man-crush. They say dance like no one’s watching. Well, everyone’s watching. And judging. And the verdict is HILARIOUS!!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!
