So while I’m sure the majority of the world is taking today as the first day of the Easter long weekend, I’ll be putting in a full day of work. This is primarily due to the fact that I was just in New York and New Jersey for 4 nights last weekend, and also due to the fact that I’ll be heading out again in a few days to venture to Las Vegas for my sister in law’s wedding, which will be another 5 days off. Due to all the travel I’m working the long weekend, which I figure is a fair trade and makes life easier for my clients.
Even though I’m working, I have some fun stuff planned for a few of my clients who were due to have some new programs beginning today or through the weekend. After checking out the CPPS certification in New Jersey this past weekend, as well as training with my good buddy Dan Trink at Peak Performance, I pulled together some good ideas for some new mobility drills and active warmups that I can play with on a few clients. That’s one of the cool things about my job: each day is like an exploration into possibility.
I wanted to showcase a cool new mobility series I picked up from the CPPS certification in particular. We were talking about making movements flow together and not doing the same old body part isolationist mobility work, and how to improve the overall training effect while reducing the time taken to get the work done to warm up before the main working sets, and out of it was born this really cool series. Check it out and let me know what you think.

How cool is that?? If you like it, leave me a comment below, and if there’s any really cool things you’re doing for your warm ups, let me know.
